EVE
Computer Services can supply a number of support plans for your network.
The cost of support will be agreed before installation of your network
and will depend on the size & complexity of your network. We can
also work with
your existing IT support staff to increase resources & apply specialist
knowledge where necessary. In addition
to support, you will also benefit from our experience, helping with
advice and consulting on new projects, equipment and software.
ad-hoc
For
a fixed hourly rate, we can support your IT systems onsite. We offer
this service to businesses in Edinburgh, West lothian, Midlothian and
East lothian.
'mini
contracts'
For
a fixed monthly rate, EVE can support your server and desktop machines
remotely. In addition, we will check and monitor your server and network
on a daily basis, maintaining your operating system updates, antispam,
backup & antivirus systems. Telephone, email and remote access allow
your employees to obtain support during office hours. Any onsite work
that is required is charged at a reduced hourly rate.
on
site maintenance visits
In
addition to the mini contract, regular visits can be arranged to pre-empt
or prevent computer problems disrupting your facility. Tasks performed
here may include defragmenting hard disk drives & servers, backing-up
of data files onto CD ROM, archiving of older files (e.g. as with email
stores), clearing of temp files, virus checks. Analysis will also be
undertaken to determine remaining disk space and other minor issues
that may be affecting users.
'full
support contracts'
For
complete peace of mind, our full support contracts will provide unlimited
onsite and remote support, daily monitoring of your server and a monthly
onsite healthcheck on ALL desktop computers. Emergency support is provided
within a maximum response time of 4-hours maximum (although 1 hour is
usual). All this is available for a FIXED MONTHLY COST, so you know
that your network reliability will be ensured for the same price each
month.

& Email Support
Support
for websites and email provided by EVE will depend on individual circumstances.
As many websites are hosted on EVE's own webservers, this is an area
where support is easily achieved and well controlled.
